Designidée is a user-oriented industrial design studio open to all types of customers; from budding designers to large multinational corporations, all over the world.

We believe good communication is the key to a successful partnership, and speak 3 languages fluently.

The studio was founded in Cologne (Germany) in early 2018 by industrial designer Siméon Lescanne.

He graduated with a master's degree in Product and Service Design Management from the renowned Institut Supérieur de Design de Valenciennes in France. He has made his mark by working for and collaborating with international companies and design studios, such as Studio F.A Porsche (Austria), Hermès Paris (France), and more recently with the kickstarter success, Misen (USA).

Thanks to all these experiences, he wanted with Designidée, to provide everyone with a quality global design service, in fields as varied as IOT, innovation, packaging or machine design, integrating the most advanced technologies.

Through his collective experiences in the field, he created Designidée – to provide a quality global design service in diversified fields such as IOT, innovation, packaging, and machine design, making use of the most advanced technologies available.

INNOVATION BY DESIGN

Our human-focused approach consistently delivers freshness and intrinsic emotional rewards that keep consumers coming back. Our process begins with in-depth, focused research and problem identification, leading to an understanding of user needs – followed by iterative idea generation to create new product and category ideas. Whether the need is for new products or new categories, the process is scalable and always presented in an accurate visual form to aid in the decision-making process.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

In addition to the creative part, we work closely with global services and manufacturing partners, providing design liaison for continuity in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), engineering, packaging, prototyping and 3d printing.

BRAND STRATEGY

With Brand Strategy, we define a future-facing direction for the

company based on its core values. Our approach for developing a strategy starts with understanding the current brand perception alongside consumer perception. Understanding and challenging the existing brand positioning is a key tool for reinforcing brand relevance and enhancing its value in the market.

We encourage exchange between our team and each of the brands we collaborate with, in order to create strategies that will yield tangible results.
